The purpose of this website is to provide information, resources, and a guide to creating a plan of action to protect targeted communities against the ongoing anti-immigrant attacks of the Trump administration. It is important to remember when we act together, we have the power to protect one another even when immigration laws and agents do not respect our community.
We hope this serves a useful resource for individuals who are being impacted by the escalation of immigration enforcement activity, and for individuals who are interested in becoming a support person for those affected. The information contained here is for educational purposes; it does not and is not intended to constitute legal advice. In addition, this guide was developed for use within New York City–we hope that it will be helpful to the community at large, but some of the information will not apply outside NYC.
To change this system that continuously represses our community, join us in the fight for immigrant justice, fight back, resist, and organize!
Make the Road New York (MRNY) is a 23,000+ member community organization that builds the power of immigrant and working communities to achieve dignity and justice by using four core strategies: community organizing, policy innovation, transformative education and provision of survival services.
